Society Hill is located in the heart of Philadelphia, just east of Center City. It’s bordered by 5th Street to the north, Walnut Street to the south, 8th Street to the west, and the Delaware River to the east.

The Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) designated Historic Philadelphia — the birthplace of the nation — as the first U.S. World Heritage City.
