Art Museum and Fairmount are located in the Center City region of Philadelphia, directly above Rittenhouse Square. The neighborhood is bordered by East Fairmount Park, the Schuylkill River, West Poplar, W Girard Ave and S College Ave.

Fairmount is located near multiple SEPTA transportation stops and the Regional Rail, making commuting very easy for residents. SEPTA’s Broad Street Line drops riders off directly on Fairmount’s eastern boundary. Bus routes 48, 33, 32 and 7 run to and from Center City.
